Josiah's 3rd Birthday

Josiah is now three years old, but he doesn't seem to want to be. When I ask him how old he is he argues with me and says he's two.

Josiah had two cakes. One cake on his actual birthday and one for his birthday party, which was the next day.

We had his party at the Gymnastics studio where Abigail takes classes. It was a lot of fun. As you can see Travis is enjoying himself by taking out his aggression on a church member!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Connie always does a wonderful job of decorating the church. This Christmas Eve Candlelight service looked especially beautiful I thought. And the music was great. We had a very nice crowd come and participate in celebrating Christmas.

Christmas 2009

We went to Mama and Papa's house a few days after Christmas to enjoy time with them.

Christmas Day was with my family. My parents traveled down from Chicago and my Aunt Brenda and Uncle Jay came up from Carbondale. We had a good time together.

My dad found these wax mustaches at the gas station and he couldn't resist!

Abigail and Josiah's Costumes for Trunk or Treat

Here is the costume I made with my new sewing machine for Abigail. She is dressed to be Jasmine. Kathy and I worked on the costume. Kathy is a lady from our church who is really good at sewing and offered to help me. I couldn't have done it without her. She really made the costume possible besides the new sewing machine!

My 32nd Birthday

The first words I heard this morning was from Josiah telling me "Happy Birthday Mommy!" And Lori brought me doughnuts when she dropped Emma off. Abigail jumped out of bed when she heard the doorbell so that she could give me her gift that she had bought for me the night before. Ryan, Travis and Abigail went to a local gift shop and she picked out a pretty bracelet that she was so proud to give to me. I love it. It is very Abigail. Later today we get to go down south and go to Travis' parents house for a few days and we will eat out at the Japanese Steakhouse. I am looking forward to it!

This morning Abigail and Josiah woke up and saw all my wonderful balloons from the party. The kids loved them. Thank you Darrelynn!

Our friends came through to visit us again on their way to Louisville, KY. It's always fun to have them over and I get cute pictures so I have to put them up!

After quite a bit of playing they sat together to watch an old cartoon.
