Owen’s growing

1 month old. During his first month he cried every evening.  He definitely had painful tummy issues.  It was hard.

At 2 months old he weighed just shy of 14lbs and 25 inches long. Abigail loves to kiss her baby brother.  Josiah does too.  Owen does not go a day or an hour for that matter without a kiss from his siblings. He still cried a lot in the evenings.  I got probiotics for him to try.  It seemed to help.  It seemed to help him not to cry every night.

3 months old. The evening crying slowed down a lot. You can’t see his scratches but Owen really likes to scratch his face and head when he’s tired, so we had to start putting socks on his hands. During our visit to Travis parents house for Thanksgiving we discovered that he likes watching football.  Owen had lots to say about football.

At 4 months old he weighed in at 17lbs and 26.5 inches long.  Owen drools a lot.  He goes thru many clothes and bibs a day.  He may be a thumb sucker.  I’m not sure if we can keep him from it.  When we have socks on his hands he still manages to suck on his thumbs.  He doesn’t do it all the time though so we will wait and see.  I bet you are wondering if he sleeps thru the night.  Well, he started to do better just before Christmas, then we went out of town, so of course it thru him off track.  We are finally starting to get back into the swing of things and are seeing that he will do just one feeding during the night.
