One thing we love about living across the river from St. Louis is the access of fun things we can do. One of them is the Magic House. We purchased a membership last Sept. for our family and it has been wonderful. It is a great place to go for just a few hours or spend the whole day there. We decided on a whim to go today and it was great to not stress about how long it would take to get there or what we would have to do in order to go.
It is a really educational trip too. The current exhibit is the Magic Treehouse series of books. Abigail has not read them yet, but after seeing the exhibit I think she will! The books seem to tell a story during different periods of history. They had a display of pilgrims and how they lived. They had a civil war medical tent displayed, a locomotive, and a schoolhouse during the early 1900s. The exhibit had costumes for the children. Abigail dressed for all of the time periods, but Josiah only did the first one and was done with that!
Aren’t they the cutest little pilgrims!
Abigail dressed as a Civil War nurse and healed Josiah!
Owen enjoyed the view from Travis’ back.
He loved the locomotive and kept yelling “ALL ABOARD!”
I think she would make a great school teacher!
There is a bean stalk that goes up thru three floors. They love to climb it each time we come.
